EXPERT ADVICE
The above recipe uses fresh chicken but cooked chicken leftovers (breast or thigh) are excellent alternatives. Cooked turkey leftovers also work well.
Any pasta suits this recipe, we find penne pasta is an excellent choice.
Increase or decrease the amount of pesto according to your taste preferences.

PREPARE THE INGREDIENTS
Onions - top and tail, peel and cut into quarters.
Mushrooms - wash, peel and roughly chop.
Carrots - wash, cut in half lengthwise then slice.
Garlic - top and tail, peel then either crush or finely chop.
Bacon - chop each slice into approximately 15 pieces (see picture below).
